The Pure Energy Health Experience

Pure Energy Health has been serving San Diego since 2026. Founded by Gustavo Salcido, FNP-C, a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Pure Energy Health provides services to its patients to improve their health, their energy and feel their best. Our staff is here to support your growth and revitalize you.

Gustavo Salcido has been a Registered nurse for 12 years, working in emergency rooms at Sharp, UCSD Medical Center, and Scripps in San Diego, California. He has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for eight years in El Centro Regional Medical Center and Family Health Centers of San Diego. He currently works as a primary care provider for Family Health Centers of San Diego and works independently as a 104 NP, a Full Practice Nurse Practitioner at Pure Energy Health. He is fully authorized by the state of California to operate an independent medical practice, evaluate, diagnose, treat and prescribe medications for his patients without requiring physician oversight.

We strive to improve your health and offer services that promote energizing and relaxation. In the next coming months, we plan to expand our services and provide restorative services like hair restoration as well as microneedling.

"As a registered nurse (RN) and nurse practitioner (NP) I follow the nursing model of holistic healing focused on treatment of the individual as a whole person with the aim of preventing disease and to empower my clients to live healthy lives.  Our busy lifestyles in our society often prevent us from doing the things that keep us youthful and healthy and lead us on a path of sedentarism and poor dietary choices that are the most common causes of chronic illness, pain, and disease. This holistic modality often puts me in conflict with traditional modern medicine guidelines that advise of long term and often permanent pharmacotherapies that carry long term health risks.  For these reasons I became interested in therapeutics that help us return to healthier states and motivate us to reinvent ourselves and our lifestyles in ways that promote mental peace, serenity, longevity, and reinvigorate our bodies.  I envisioned Pure Energy Health as the place where these ideals can flourish without conflict and where I can provide the care I intended when my interest in medicine and healthcare began."
